ÚLTIMO REPORTE:LUNES "2  DE ENERO"  PRESIDENTE DE LA REPÚBLICA, SEBASTIÁN PIÑERA11.00 HORAS- Hasta el momento existen más de 12 mil hectáreas afectadas por el incendio en el PNTP. 1/3 de ellas corresponde a bosque nativo; y 2/3 a praderas y estepa.- Hay 753 brigadistas trabajando en el control del incendio. - Existen 6 focos de incendio, 4 de los cuales se encuentran en proceso de control, aunque no se descarta que puedan volver a expanderse, producto de los fuertes vientos.- Los otros 2 focos no se están expandiendo, pero hay que trabajar aún en su control.- El Gobierno está preparando y tomando todas las medidas para poder reabrir parcialmente el PNTP a partir del miércoles 4 de enero, si es que las condiciones se mantienen como hasta la fecha o mejoran. - Esta reapertura se iniciaría en el sector norte del Parque, correspondiente a Laguna Azul, Laguna Amarga, Campamento Cuernos, Campamento Serón, Campamento Los Perros. En primera instancia, se reabrirían 100 a 150 mil hectáreas, que es donde existe el mayor flujo de turistas. Esta apertura comienza el dia Miercoles 4 de Enero del 2012- Todo esto tiene por objetivo mantener con la mayor normalidad la temporada turística. - Además, el Gobierno pondrá especial énfasis en proteger la flora y la fauna existente en el PNTP.This is a family business with ten years of
